Starting his career at the age of 18, David quickly established himself as a trusted leader in the landscaping industry. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, he grew his business from humble beginnings with a 1976 Malibu into a successful operation with a fleet of professional equipment and dedicated staff.
As founder and president of Goodman’s Landscape Maintenance, David focuses his expertise on delivering exceptional landscape design and maintenance services throughout the Greater Phoenix Area. His leadership and hands-on experience have helped shape the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
David’s work ethic and commitment to professionalism continue to drive the company’s growth, and he remains deeply involved in every project, ensuring each client receives the highest level of service. When he’s not leading his team, David enjoys spending time with his family and staying inspired by the ever-evolving landscape industry.
JIMMY MADRID
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Jimmy has built an impressive 24-year career in landscape maintenance, focusing on creating outdoor spaces that thrive in Arizona’s unique climate. From his early years as a groundskeeper, Jimmy’s commitment to learning and growing in the field has made him a trusted expert in plant care, irrigation systems, and landscape sustainability.
Jimmy’s pride in his work is reflected in the long-lasting results he achieves for his clients. He thrives on the challenge of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments that are tailored to the specific needs of each property. He is especially passionate about educating clients on how to maintain their landscapes efficiently, empowering them to enjoy their outdoor spaces for years to come.

CORY HOOTMAN
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Cory has over 10 years of experience in landscape maintenance, specializing in plant care, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscape practices. Certified through the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA) and the University of Arizona Extension, Cory brings expert knowledge in comprehensive landscape maintenance, Smartscape irrigation design, and disease management.
Born and raised in Arizona, Cory’s extensive experience includes maintaining residential and commercial landscapes across the Valley. He is passionate about creating thriving, water-efficient outdoor spaces that enhance the beauty and health of every property he works on. His commitment to customer satisfaction and attention to detail have earned him a loyal client base throughout the Valley.
When he’s not overseeing projects, Cory enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and hiking. His love for the outdoors is the driving force behind his commitment to delivering exceptional landscapes that clients can enjoy year-round.
JOE NUNEZ
DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER
Joe was born and raised in Arizona and lived his entire life in the valley. He brings 33 years of experience in Landscape and Hardscape Construction, Design, and Installation. With a passion for transforming homeowner dreams into reality, Joe has built a reputation for his unique creations and innovative approach to landscape design.
Homeowner dreams are converted to conceptual 2D Landscape Architectural layouts and 3D Animated Designs. The outstanding visualizations created allow homeowners an opportunity to preview, adjust, and perfect their designs, ensuring the final outcome aligns with their vision. Whether it’s a simple backyard renovation or a large-scale landscape transformation, Joe’s creativity and attention to detail are at the forefront of every project he oversees.
When not designing or working in the field, Joe enjoys outdoor excursions and unwinding with a good movie, always drawing inspiration from the world around him.
